About the Founder

Rachel Esther Spence, also known as Rachel Esther, is a multi-medium creative with a rich history in the arts and a deep passion for fostering innovation. She is a firm believer that business is not just a system of information and organizations that power the economy — but an art form in itself. Through her lived experiences, creative practice, and professional journey, Rachel founded Rachel Esther Creative Consulting (RECC) to bridge the worlds of creativity and business in a meaningful and sustainable way.

From an early age, Rachel was drawn to creativity and the idea of building a life around it. As she approached high school and beyond, she began to recognize a difficult truth: while creative talent is invaluable, creative careers are not always structured in a way that supports long-term financial sustainability. This realization led her to seek a path that honored both her creative spirit and her desire for stability and impact.

Initially drawn to journalism, Rachel’s curiosity evolved into a deeper interest in entrepreneurship and innovation, and found  out that this was a space where creativity, problem-solving, and strategy intersect. Through completing her MBA, she fell in love with the art of innovation: the process of building, refining, and reimagining ideas into systems that work. It was here that she found the language and structure for what she had always felt — that creativity is not separate from business, but essential to it.

Rachel also noticed a recurring gap: while many artists and creatives deeply understand their passion, they are rarely supported in building sustainable careers around it. At the same time, many businesses struggle because they overlook creativity as a strategic tool.  RECC was created to serve both sides;  empowering creatives with business acumen and helping businesses leverage creative thinking as a driver of innovation, clarity and growth. RECC exists to help organizations see creativity not as an add-on, but as an engine for intentional problem-solving and sustainable success.
